John Hendry came to Bryan-College Station to earn an M.B.A. with a major in marketing (Texas A&M, cl ’82). He previously graduated from The University of the South with a B.A. in English, in 1978. John was raised in Dallas and San Antonio. He and his wife Denise, also an Aggie, have enjoyed living in the B-CS area after graduation, and have a teen-age daughter, Anna. John’s professional background includes ten years of marketing and sales experience, eight of which were in commercial real estate brokerage and management. In addition, John worked for ten years in the social services sector in professional and management positions. In his leisure time, John enjoys athletics, gardening, reading and travel. John sees the long-term revitalization effort in Historic Downtown Bryan as a great opportunity to apply his “people skills” and marketing experience.
