The Downtown Bryan Association is pleased to present Family Festifall happening on Saturday, November 9 from 10 a.m. – 3 p.m. Family Festifall will bring children and families to Downtown Bryan for a day of hands on visual, literary, science and performing arts activities. Participating exhibits provided by community organizations and businesses will provide learning opportunities and performances for children and their families. This event will allow children and families the opportunity to discover creativity, individuality, diversity and the arts while exploring community resources.

2019 Exhibitors

Arts Council of the Brazos Valley: In honor of Dia de los Muertos, children will be coloring decorative skulls.

George H.W. Bush Presidential Library and Museum: More info coming soon! 

KBTX: Learn about the weather and take part in a live green screen just like meteorologists! 

School of Rock: We will have a musical “petting zoo” where the kids will get to take their turn playing live instruments.

TAMU Brazos Valley Injury Prevention Coalition: Old time carnival type games, played with and then with out goggles
to stimulate alcohol and marijuana impairment.

Palmisano's ATA Martial Arts: Will have re breakable boards. Teaching kids how to break boards with focus, discipline, and follow through. 

Twin City Mission Domestic Violence Services: Children will answer a few questions about building good and healthy relationships. After they answer 2-3 questions they will be able to create a friendship bracelet with a positive word on it (Ex. love, kind, loyal, honest).


TAMU College of Veterinary Medicine PEER Program: 

Children will learn the ins and outs of proper pet care. From practicing brushing cat and dog teeth on dental models to understanding pet food nutrition labels and recognizing animal body language veterinary students will ensure everyone knows how to be a great pet owner!

Mathnasium: Will play a game called Make Seven. It is like connect four but the kids have to play tiles that add up to seven. 

Purple Turtle Art Studio: Join the Purple Turtle Art Studio as they create feather paintings inspired by Texas A&M’s Biodiversity Teaching Collection.
Our mission is the equip children with the tools of creativity.

Degallery: Kids will be able to paint fall pictures. Our goal is to show a new type of versatile creativity for kids. Our techniques help to train their taste and ability to focus, to dream and to create a real masterpiece.
Kids will learn the fundamentals of design and composition. They will lay with line, value, color, shape, size, and direction.

Texas Master Naturalists - Brazos Valley Chapter: Children will learn about birds including how they are adapted to survive and how and when migration occurs.

Other activities include: Bounce houses, All Aboard Fun Train rides, live performances at the Palace Theater, photo stations, kids craft and more!
